IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal Program
36 Hours (27 Theory, 9 Lab) This program meets the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) requirement for certification. This course will provide the the student with the necessary techniques to perform successful Intravenous (IV) Therapies and Blood Withdrawal. Students will be given an e-course prior to the first day of class to prepare for theory and lab. Upon passing the final examination, the participant will be awarded with a Certificate of Completion.

Nurse Assistant (NA)

This training program is designed to give our students the knowledge of the principles and skills necessary to provide quality nursing care. Participants are provided with experienced instructors who guide and support the development of each individual student to ensure information is comprehensive and retained; creating a confident and competent future Nurse Assistant. Upon completion of the program the graduate receives a Certificate of Completion and becomes eligible to take the Certification Examination administered by the American Red Cross. Additional time is provided to each class, at no additional cost, prior to their exam date in which to practice, prepare and review. After passing the State Exam, and background check approval of The Department of Public Health Services, the successful student is then considered a Certified Nursing Assistant. 40 Hours (20 Theory, 20 Clinical) This program is designed to prepare Certified Nurse Assistants for Certification as a Home Health Aide by the State of California. The program is structured to provide theory and practical application of knowledge and skill needed to function as a Home Health Aide and be able to deliver optimum health care in a home care setting. An initial application is taken on the first day of class. Heartsaver CPR & First-Aid (For Non-Healthcare Providers)
This class will teach you adult, child, and infant CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, the use of an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator), and treatment of choking victims of all ages. A certificate from American Heart Association renewable every 2 years for CPR and every 2 years for First Aid will be given to participants who successfully completed this class. Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA)

This 1-day training program focuses on extensive practices and skills to keep a client at his/her highest possible practical, physical, mental, psychological, and functional level of well-being. With a competitive workforce, this certificate will put you on the edge from your peers because you will have learned basic skills not only from your previously learned basic nursing skills, but also skills from Physical Therapy (P.T.), Occupational Therapy (O.T.), and Speech & Language Pathology (SLP) to be a very competent & successful Restorative Nursing Assistant. To be accepted in this program, you must currently be a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). RNAs are primarily seen in the Skilled Nursing Facilities, Long-Term Care, Convalescent Hospitals, Rehabilitation & Nursing Facilities, Geriatric-Psychiatric Facilities, etc. It is a very exciting and rewarding field, and the RNA credential will also open the doors to employment such as a Rehab Aide, Rehab Tech, Activity Assistant, Medical Assistants, Medical Offices, etc. It is definitely a credential directly above the level of CNA certification. Successful completion of the RNA program must pass a written and skills test and must attend all modules equivalent to 8-hours. The completion of this course entitles an additional credential to the CNA student (for example: Your Name, CNA/RNA) which adds more value professionally onto your resume & in the healthcare field. Medication Management Technician (MMT) Certification Program

This program emphasize prevention measures through education by assisting care givers to implement medication procedures properly and accurately to promote resident's health and safety. This program contains information that represent medication procedures required by law to perform, and some procedures not required by law, if implemented, will provide additional safeguards in the management of medications.
